Proper education is the most powerful catalyst for empowerment of an individual, it also increases one's awareness on a range of issues from basic healthcare to appropriate social behavior to understanding one's rights and in the process help them evolve as a better citizen. Millions of underprivileged children do not get a proper education. Access to quality education and even basic school essentials like notebooks and school supplies are hard to come by for thousands of children across the country. Through Project Ensure Thaai aims at providing the underprivileged children the education they need to dream of a better future. From conducting specialized classes by experts to sponsoring essential school supplies the programs are designed to ensure the social empowerment of rural children in the villages across southern state of Tamil Nadu. As the first step in the Project Ensure, we have started with English communication classes for the school finishing children of a government aided school in Vadambacheri, Pollachi. Which will open the door for these rural children to prepare for higher studies and to join the workforce. The program will be followed by other specialized classes and programs like sponsoring school supplies etc.
