April 12 -19 | Help The Needy Project

As the pandemic was getting much worse the need for help was also on the raise. People who were living on the margins of poverty were suffering a lot in worst hit communities. Some of the slums in the areas like Karupparayan Kovil, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, VNR Nagar, Kasthuri Nayakkan Palayam located in the outskirts of Coimbatore caught our attention. We along with Helping Hands and with the support of some volunteers provided the people of the above areas with freshly prepared meals. Groceries worth of Rs 1,53,000 was utilized during this activity and Rs 4000 per day was spent on cooking and other expenses.

We were able to help 1500 Families from the above mentioned areas with the generous support from our sponsors and volunteers.
